Sail CampCo-sponsored by Marin Yacht Club
Our 37th SEAson! Sailing Education Adventures’ Sail Camp is one of the best ways for children to learn to sail in The Bay Area. It offers intensive instruction on 12'- 14’ sailboats, as well as lessons on boat safety and seamanship. And most importantly, Sail Camp fosters teamwork and individual self- confidence. All classes are taught by experienced instructors certified by the US. Sailing Association. SEA is a non-profit community sailing organization dedicated to providing affordable instruction in the art of sailing and encouraging the care for the marine environment. Join us on the water for this exciting and educational sailing experience. |
In 1998, Sailing Education Adventures (SEA) and the Marin Yacht Club won the prestigious Nimitz Trophy in recognition of the quality of our youth program. |
2021 Registration will open at 12:30 pm 1/29/21
Changes to Sail Camp Policy: Under new guidelines by Marin County Department of Health, we are allowed to operate our 2021 programs under certain restrictions. Assuming that 2021 camp season is still under restriction we are limited to the following guidelines"
- Camp sessions must be 3 weeks in length (we offer camp sessions monday- friday)
- Campers must commit to the full 3 week session (no camp hopping)
- Camp sessions must operate with groups of 12 participants and fewer.
We will be adjusting our daily operations to ensure safety of all participants, our students, their families, our staff and our general community. We will be happy to share our new measures with anyone interested to know what we are doing to reduce risk, please feel free to contact us with any questions.
If you have any questions regarding our process and our limitations, please feel free to contact our Program Director Meghan Hartnett via email at programdirector@sfsailing.org.
