Changes to Sail Camp Policy:
With the relaxation of COVID restrictions county wide, we have returned to our pre-COVID programming and camp session lengths. SEA will still be staying vigilant and will be adjusting our daily operations to ensure safety of all participants, our students, their families, our staff and our general community. We will be happy to share our new measures with anyone interested to know what we are doing to reduce risk, please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Basic/ Intermediate Sail Camp 2023 Season
Location: Marin Yacht Club, 24 Summit Ave, San Rafael. Marin Yacht Club.
Days: Monday - Friday, 2 week sessions Hours: 9 am- 4 pm Ages: 11-16 Price: $895 Dates: Registration is now open for 2022- when you register PLEASE NOTE THE SESSION DATES WHEN YOU REGISTER. Also, the session that you register for will be listed on your PayPal receipt, you can check back here for the dates. Basic/Intermediate Session 1: June 12- June 23 (half filled)* Basic/Intermediate Session 2: June 26- July 7 (half filled)* Basic/Intermediate Session 3: July 10- 21 (filled)* Basic/Intermediate Session 4: July 24- August 4 (filled)* * space available notes are not updated in real time and are listed to give a general idea of availability, if the payment is not allowed for a session, that means it is filled even if the note next to the date says there is space Basic introduces new sailors with boat handling and the principles of sailing. Intermediate campers who have mastered basic skills will be challenged with more skill building in single-handing and responsibility by building leadership skills. The full-day sessions (Monday through Friday) concentrate on sailing, boating safety and teamwork. Parent, campers, instructors and friends will celebrate the end of Basic Sail Camp at a graduation BBQ held at Marin Yacht Club where certificates and awards will be presented. Registration: Please click the link above for the camp session you would like and complete the registration form and the payment. You must complete both the registration form and the payment to have the enrollment considered complete and your space in camp saved. Once a camp session is filled, the payment button will no longer be available. You can still register for the waitlist by completing the registration form without payment after a session has filled. Sail Camp Cancellation Policy
COVID-19 Policy- Cancellation due to a COVID-19 related reason will be fully refunded. Should SEA need to cancel the camp session due to COVID-19, you will be offered a credit to be used for the following summer season, or a full refund. Regular Policy- You may cancel your registration with our office. However, please be aware of our refund limits for our camps. If cancellation occurs after: March 1- 50% refund May 1st- non-refundable Please contact Program Director Meghan Hartnett programdirector@sfsailing.org as soon as you know that you may need to cancel Missed Days There can be no make ups for missed days. You are responsible for ensuring that your camper can participate in all the camp days. |
Welcome Letter- The 2023 Welcome Letter will be emailed to you after registration. A link to the welcome letter with all the pertinent info for camp will be updated here at a later date.
