Our curriculum for all sessions is based on USSailing's Small Boat Sailor and covers:
Awards Sessions![]() Mini Camp
Days: Monday - Friday One-week, half-day sessions to introduce younger children to sailing. Light morning breezes give younger children an opportunity to start learning about wind, water, safety and fun. Youths are taught basic sailing skills by our experienced staff. In safe conditions, children are encouraged to sail in pairs without counselors by the end of the their training. Family Sails: Friday come and sail with your kids 11:00 am Note: We cannot enroll 8-10 year olds in Basic / Intermediate camps.
Basic / Intermediate CampDays: Monday - Friday Session 1: June 25 One-week full-day sessions - (two or more sessions are highly recommended for adequate sailing instruction) - that concentrate on sailing, boating safety and teamwork. Basic Camp is an introductory course that builds familiarity with boat handling and the principles or sailing. Intermediate Camp further develops sailing skills, while providing longer and more challenging sails to with trained counselors coaching from safety boats. Camp staff will form the two groups based on sailing history and demonstrated skills at the start of the session. New children must take Basic Camp first. Family Sails: Last Friday come and sail with your kids 2pm
