Sailing Education Adventures, a non-profit sailing eduation organization, seeks head counselors, assistant head counselors, counselors and junior counselors for our Sailing Programs. 2012 will be SEA's 28th year of operations.

Schedule Spring Sailing Counselor - May 2 - June 20 W 3-7pm Summer Camp Counselor - June 25 - August 30 M-F 8:30am to 4:30pm Saturday Family Sails Coordinator - Monthly Saturdays 2-5pm Volunteer Position
Assistant Head Counselor Responsible for assiting with the instruction and safety for 16 - 25 youth sailors ranging from 8-16 years and will coordinate several Counselors and Junior Counselors. Supports Head Counselor with all parent relations, youth registrations and training. AHC is also repsonsible for supporting HC with host facilities relations and all safety policy compliance. Compensation $14/hr
Counselor Must be highly proficient in sailing (college level or above), First Aid / CPR Certified, USSailing Level 1 Cert, able to rig, instruct and sail Laser Pico or Catalina Dinghies, and be able to competently operate a variety of motorboats. Counselors must instruct the campers in a friendly and efficient manor, as well as handle some parent relations. Compensation: $8-12/hr depending on position and experience
Junior Counselor JCs must have completed our Advanced camp. This is a volunteer position with responsibility for assisting counselors at the docks and on the water. A one-time $125 fee is required to apply. JCs traditionally sail with us for two seasons before advancing to Counselor position.
