Communications, Katka
Katka has been in San Francisco for almost 8 years, originally coming from the Czech Republic. She always wanted tried to sail, so Bay Area was the perfect place to be.
Katka took SEA classes around 5 years ago and participated at many open dinghy sails as well as the SEA open sails. After being a regular dinghy sailor, she became Assistant Instructor to help others to sail and then also started to sail on bigger boats such as Santana 22s and others. Katka has participated in multiple Bay Races as well and tried some of the ocean racing.
As a board member, Katka hopes to help others to find the same love for sailing as she has thanks to the other SEA members and mentors and hopes to help to connect others to sail and become friends.

Board Meetings
SEA Board of Directors’ meetings are open to the public, except for certain subjects that are addressed in closed executive session in accordance with the Brown Act.
