slcThe Friends of SF Marina is sponsoring their second guest lecture on October 21st.

SeaLife Conservation’s  Managing Director, Dave Robinson, will speak about the organization and the role of the Derek M. Baylis, a working 65-foot research sailboat designed by Tom Wylie.

SeaLife Conservation focuses on GPS mapping of coastal California to identify plastics and their sources; community outreach to inspire reduction or bans of single use plastics; educating the public about ocean health. The talk begins at 1800 hours (6:00 pm) at the Golden Gate YC. Please do not contact the GGYC--they are only the venue.
