Sailing Education Adventures

On behalf of the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce, I want to thank each of the 6 (yes, SIX!) members of SEA who stepped up and volunteered their time at the Chamber Food Booth at the Sausalito Art Festival over Labor Day Weekend. We sent an appeal out a couple of weeks before the Festival and I was delighted that AJ (Busta), Leslie (Wallach), Joyce (Jones), Sallie (Lippe) and Tom and Bernice (Kehoe) answered the call. The Food Booth is the biggest fundraiser for the Chamber and we simply couldn't do it without our wonderful volunteers.

I worked the Booth Saturday a.m. and all day Sunday, and believe me, I know it was hard work! I hope you all were able to enjoy some time at the Festival before or after your shift.

SEA volunteers ROCK! We know the value of volunteering and serving our community. These efforts will come back to us in the form of community commitment, more members, and adults and children attending our classes. I am proud to be a part of this amazing group of people!
