Sailing Education Adventures

A lot of SEA students are wondering as to where we can go in Richardson Bay with the Catalinas on Open Sails. Due to shallow depth at low tide, heavy weeds which can get caught on keels, and the current taking you into the bay, we ask students to remain in the bay up to Cone Rock and Spinnakers Restaurant.

Please note the yellow ovals below which are heavy with weeds at medium to low tides.
