High school students from Summerfield Waldorf in Sebastopol took to the water with SEA last week for an intense summer camp sailing adventure. Sailing by day and camping at China Camp by night they made for a fun group!

And, it's no surprise - their school teacher actually had lived aboard a sailboat and raised four children circumnavigating! It's an inspiring story, to say the least.

Wayne led the new sailors with the help of two excellent Summerfield instructors, who both had considerable sailing experience. Though wind was initially temperamental, it picked up just in time to really challenge the students. Wayne said he was really impressed with the kids' discipline, constantly offering to help organize and store the boats.  When two girls gingerly lifted up a Pico to store it dock-side, it clearly proved these kids were tough!

Thanks for joining us Summerfield!
