Dear Fellow SEA Members:

The Sausalito Chamber of Commerce invites you to come to the 59th Annual Sausalito Art Festival for FREE!

As always, the world-renowned Festival will be held at Marinship Park in Sausalito over Labor Day Weekend, September 3, 4, and, 5.

The Chamber invites you to sign up for a 4-hour shift at the Chamber's Food Booth, before or after which you'll be able to spend the rest of the day enjoying the music, the art, the people and the one-of-a-kind Festival, for FREE! (For more information on the FANTASTIC art and entertainment offered at the Festival, check out www.sausalitoartfestival.org.)

Each year, the amazing food at the Festival is served up by local nonprofit organizations. The Chamber of Commerce (which you may know that SEA is a member!) will be grilling gourmet hamburgers and veggie burgers. These burgers have been wildly successful over the last few years, and the event has proved to be one of our biggest annual fundraisers.

The "positions" are:
Griller: grill burgers, veggie burgers, mushrooms/onions
Prep: variously, keep items "stocked", prepare "set ups", liaison between grillers and order taker/order delivers
Order takers/cashier: takes orders from customers, handles the cash

Order deliverer: delivers the goods!

I'll give you all the details on the positions via a follow up email. Meanwhile, the shifts each day are:

Most shifts are still available, but note that I'll be filling them up on a first come/first serve basis.

If any of your family, friends or co-workers would like to join you, they are welcome and of course would receive all the same perks (free admission to the festival, and the undying gratitude from the Chamber).

I'm happy to tell you that the Food Booths are often hectic and the pace is fast....because the Sausalito Art Festival is so successful and people are HUNGRY! But it is loads of fun, you'll make some great friends, you'll be helping to promote the Arts in Sausalito, AND you'll be helping the Chamber.
